The shop is run by Barry Campbell, who has been the Club's professional since 2000.  He qualified as a teacher through the European Golf Teachers Federation gaining a Diploma. He subsequently went on to achieve an Advanced Teaching Diploma again with the EGTF. Barry is available for lessons at £15.00 (£12 for Juniors) per half-hour; or a block booking of five lessons can be obtained for the price of four.   All lessons make use of the Explanar, which is a new piece of equipment for coaching.   Barry also carries out repairs to clubs.

The shop is fully stocked with all types of golf clothing and equipment, and is open on a regular basis.

a new Pro Shop.  The new shop is well stocked and is run by our club Pro Barry.

Clubgolf Programme

The clubgolf programme was launched in 2003 to fulfil the Scottish Government’s promise to provide every child in  Scotland with an opportunity to experience golf, part of Scotland’s commitment to the game which formed part of the successful bid to host the 2014 Ryder Cup.

Our club joined the clubGolf programme in 2008 seeing an excellent opportunity to introduce the children and youths of the Area to the game of Golf and also to the Club. Spearheaded by our club professional Barry Campbell, Club Golf has been met with great enthusiasm and we would like this to continue and grow to even greater success.
